I’ve been laboring over this website for awhile now. I’m not the most tech-savvy person in the world. In fact, my web skills are abysmally bad. Non-existent, really.

I originally wrote this post back in the summer of last year. After that, I debated for several months if having a website was something I truly wanted to do. I have been a bit overwhelmed by the legal end of things, and what I needed to do to make my site digitally compliant… honestly, it seemed like it was just too much to deal with just to have a simple website for goodness sake! But, I finally decided to commit.

I’m grateful for the incredibly detailed guides provided by the folks at WordPress.com. I usually like a nice steep learning curve, and this fits the bill for sure. The platform is so rich in features, it’s almost overwhelming how much is possible. But to save my sanity and get this site published in a more timely manner, I’ve opted for a bare-bones style of layout for now.

Also, there is no shopping cart on the site…at least for now. I’ve included links to my sites on Zazzle and Fine Art America in case anyone is interested in prints, greeting cards, etc. featuring my art.

I’m excited to be back online, and hopefully, I’ll be updating this space often. I always invite comments/suggestions. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make your experience on this site more enjoyable.
