These daylilies are from my mother-in-law’s garden. I was challenged to depict the show-y frilly-edged petals against the dark foliage background. The individual flowers bloom only for a day and rapidly fade. But while they bloom, it’s a lovely show!

Materials used: Copic Multiliner pens on Strathmore 500 plate bristol. Size of original: 8-1/2″ X 7-1/8″.
