Artist Comments

Columbines are such delicate fairy-like flowers; they seem to exist in a world between reality and fantasy. This makes them perfect subjects for pen and ink line work. The dark foliage background compliments the ethereal flowers and buds; they almost seem to dance!

Materials used: Copic Multiliner pens on Strathmore 500 plate bristol. Size of original: 7-1/4″ X 10-3/8″.
