Another floral favorite of mine. In this drawing, I chose to focus on the contrast of the delicate, light-colored frilly petals with the dark, smooth spear-like appearance of the foliage. 
Techniques used in this drawing are a combination of textural representation and cross-hatching. 

Materials used: Pigma Micron pens, india ink and dip pens on 300 lb. hot press Fabriano watercolor paper. Size of original: 6-1/2″ X 8-1/2″.
